Congratulations on your recent engagement. This is a very exciting and BUSY time in your lives, and we are thrilled that you are considering Porte Rouge for your wedding registry.

Our goal is to help fill your home with beautiful wares, and to give you an experience that is more personal and attentive than you would otherwise receive at a large department store. Read on… Porte Rouge offers a number of wonderful benefits when you register with us.

Chic Wares
Let us help fill your home with chic wares! Throughout our website, you’ll find wonderful treasures for your home. Keep in mind that we have additional product in our store, as well as special ordering services. We have a beautiful selection of tableware, flatware, barware, linens, cookware and more! And many of our wares are hand crafted in Europe.

Personal Service
We will schedule a time to meet with you at your convenience. Since Porte Rouge does not open until 11:00 a.m. Monday through Sunday, we would be happy to set up a registry consultation before 11:00 a.m. so that you’ll have the store to yourselves while you shop around and get ideas for your home.  Whatever the time, come prepared to receive our full attention and consultation. We’ll pour a glass of tea, relax and help you shop! We will help announce your registry to your guests by supplying you with Porte Rouge registry cards to be mailed with your wedding invitations.

Convenience for Your Guests
Your guests will be able to shop your registry on your own personal web page. We invite you to take a look at some of the couples’ web pages that are currently registered at Porte Rouge. Your page will feature a photo of the engaged couple (if you'd like) and a personal message to your guests. Or, your guests can feel free to call us and place an order by phone. Once an order is placed, each gift is beautifully wrapped and shipped to your requested destination, or have your gifts conveniently held here for you to pick up at your leisure.

Registry purchase discount:
In the event that your guests do not purchase for you all the of items on your registry, Porte Rouge is pleased to offer you the option to purchase any of the remaining items on your registry at 15% below the regular retail price. This discount applies to all stocked and special order items except our antique furniture and our Viking appliances. You can use this registry purchase discount any time starting 30 days after your event.

Advance ordering of special order items upon request:
Porte Rouge stocks a vast majority of the items we offer for registry. There are, however, some items that we offer for registries that we will special order for you. We do not pre-stock these special order items, but simply order the item when a guest requests to purchase it for you.

If you prefer, Porte Rouge will advance order these items and stock them for immediate delivery to you if you agree that you will purchase any remaining advance order items from Porte Rouge with the registry purchase discount if they have not been purchased for you six (6) months after your event date. Of course, you may, at your option, choose to purchase those remaining items sooner, using your registry purchase discount.

Events at Porte Rouge
Porte Rouge’s ambiance exudes warmth and charm… and you should see the space at night! Maybe you’d like to host one of your bridal events at Porte Rouge? From a couple’s cocktail party shower, to an afternoon tea bridal shower, we can plan a spectacular event for you. Maybe you’d like a private cooking class event? Let us know and we can work out the details at a budget that works for you. Or, take a look at our current calendar of upcoming classes. Perhaps there is a class in place already that you’d be interested in attending?
